Oven Baked Yukon Gold Potatoes

A big thanks to Nichole for sharing this recipe with me.  This takes about 10 to 15 minutes to prep and 45 minutes to an hour to boil & bake prior to serving.  These potatoes are great for serving with steak and/or chicken.

For this recipe you’ll need the following:

1.  Yukon gold potatoes
2.  Olive Oil
3.  Cookie Sheet & Aluminum foil
4.  Salt & Pepper, onion powder, garlic powder (or McKormick Steak Seasoning), rosemary
5.  Pot to boil potatoes

Cut the potatoes into quarters or eights if they are particularly large.  Boil them in water for about 15 minutes.

Put some aluminum foil on a cookie sheet and toss the potatoes on the cookie sheet with olive oil, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and rosemary. Feel free to use a decent amount of olive oil, you don’t want the potatoes to stick to the sheet.

Bake them in the oven (bottom or middle rack) for 30 minutes – but toss them once or twice in between so they don’t stick to the cookie sheet. If you need to add more olive oil to prevent sticking, do so.

Adding dill makes them slightly less than good.
