PA D&D & All Saints Day
Ok, so one of the primary objectives of this blog is to report particular, awesome internet tidbits to the rest of the community. After my hiatus, it is time to resume this blog’s function in that role.
I’m really excited to report that Mike and Jerry (aka Gabe and Tycho with PA), Scot Kurtz (@ PVP) and Wil Wheaton have again recorded another Podcast with noneother than Chris Perkins serving as their DM (dungeon master)!
I really enjoy these podcasts, Chris does an amazing job bringing his characters and encounters to life while tolerating the other four’s crazy antics. Even if you don’t understand the mechanics of Dungeons and Dragons (which I didn’t for the longest time), the podcast is still a blast.
So far, the <first> and <second> episodes have already been released.
One of my favorite DJ’s, Nemesis Theory, has recently released two new awesome hits via her newgrounds page: Snap Dragon and Trance Turnabout. Her music is pretty amazing, I hope she goes professional one day and starts charging for these awesome master piece’s she’s freely sharing with us.
As you may have found out, about a month ago Ronald Jenkees released his second album! I really enjoy his work, he’s done a superb job with both of his albums. Some of my favorites on his second album (which you can preview here) are Disorganized Fun, Guitar Sound, Throwing Fire, Stay Crunchy and It’s Gettin Rowdy (which reminds me of Bone Thugs and Harmony’s See you at the Cross Roads)
If you are in the market for Windows 7, which will be in stores on October 22, I came across <this site> which was pretty helpful listing the different features which come with the different versions of the new OS. I have installed Windows 7 already (Ultimate x64 bit) on my older machine. Once I verify it can run all of my must have programs, I will install it on my newer machine (which is running Vista x64 atm). I will have some future blog posts documenting various Windows 7 tweaks and tips soon…
Credit goes to Jerry for linking to me the new <Boondock Saints II trailer> (All Saints Day)! This has been speculated a long time in the making, I never thought they would finally get the funding to actually begin filming. The first one was so long ago. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the sequel.
