Who thought it was a good idea to have the first presidential debate on a Friday evening at 9pm?  Anytime Monday through Thursday evening would have been much more convenient.  If you too also missed the debate, you can find it in its entirety hosted here:

This morning I came across this hi rez desktop picture posted over at Interfacelift.  I like how the background is both gorgeous and not cluttered.  You can put as your background and get kind of a peaceful fung shui without the background seeming crowded and feeling like it actually adds clutter your PC desktop space.

Recently, Smartftp has decided that they will no longer offer the use of their product for free and now wish to charge $37.  Smartftp is a file transfer protocal (FTP) program.  I have been using it for quite some time to upload and download various content to FTP servers.  In the past, the use of their product has always been free save the various warning that you need to either upgrade the product to a later version or simply pay for a professional version…

So, for the first time in my life, I went to go get a pedicure today.  I figured for the sake of men everywhere, I would blog about this experience.  While I imagine the experience is different depending on the salon you go to, I’m sure some verbiage about the entire ordeal is better than nothing…

Finally, a blog post!  Yet again, it has been too long since my last blog post.  As you may have noticed, the wordpress template for this blog has been changed.  I have been meaning to change it again for quite some time and am quite pleased with this new template.  You can find this template free of charge from siteground.  The other templates that were close seconds to almost being implemented over this one were as follows:  Auroa,  Edublog, Purple Swirl, WP-Standard, Fashion (previously used template), and Baroque.

It’s been way too long since the last blog post!  Today I come to you with speculation.  About a year ago, Jeff Lew posted on CG Talk claiming that he was undergoing the final stages of rendering his new full feature film – Killer Bean Forever!  I guess he decided to delay the release as the movie has yet to be released.

This is where the speculation comes in.  His website for the Killer Bean has been recently updated and the diction used on the pages on that site is particularly promising:  “Killer Bean Forever is an 85 minute animated feature film presented in HD 1080p.”  I know this is stretching it, but the page could have easily had said “will be.”  This page was changed recently (within the past month to say is an 85 minute…); I really hope some kind of release is on the immediate horizon.
